Frequently Asked Questions
-
We currently carry bridal sizes 2–20. Because our gowns are sold off-the-rack and new dresses arrive weekly, available styles and sizes change frequently.
-
Bridal sizing typically runs 1–2 sizes smaller than everyday clothing. For example, if you usually wear a size 6, your bridal size may be an 8 or 10. We recommend choosing your size based on measurements rather than streetwear sizing.
-
The most important measurements are:
- Bust,
- Waist,
- Hips (less critical for ball gowns and A-line styles),
- Length (Hollow to Hem – measured from the hollow between your collarbones to the floor)
- Sleeve Length (Only for long sleeve dresses) from shoulder to wrist
-
Most gowns require minor alterations for a perfect fit. Pre-owned dresses may already have some adjustments completed, which can reduce alteration costs. When between sizes, we recommend sizing up—gowns are easier to take in than let out.
Common Adjustments/Alterations include:
- Hemming
- Taking in the bodice
- Adding or removing Straps
- Bustle Additions
- Sew-In Bra Cups
